Haon Robotics wins sensor nominations with projected revenue above RMB30M

Haon Robotics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shenzhen-listed Haon Automotive Electronics, has received exclusive supplier nominations for two perception-system programmes from an unnamed major robotics customer. Securities Times reported on 15 October, citing Haon Automotive Electronics, that the nominations cover a 3-megapixel fisheye imaging system and an ultrasonic radar perception system. The disclosed estimate puts combined project revenue above RMB30 million, subject to future customer production and purchasing.

Haon’s parent business supplies camera and radar sensing systems for advanced driver assistance and vehicle automation, providing an existing production and quality-control base for a move into robot perception. The company has previously disclosed technical collaboration with AGIBOT around Genie02 ultrasonic sensing, illustrating its interest in transferring automotive sensor technology into robotic platforms. Haon has not named the customer or robot platform covered by the latest nominations.

The awards are supplier-designation letters rather than evidence that the full estimated value has been ordered or delivered. In previous automotive customer disclosures, Haon has distinguished expected programme revenue from binding purchase orders, which depend on subsequent customer production plans.
