InOrbit demonstrates robot orchestration with eight vendors at Automate
The showcase connects fleet managers, enterprise orders and shared-space traffic control across different robot brands.

InOrbit.AI has demonstrated federated robot orchestration at Automate 2026, connecting systems from eight participating robotics companies in a shared operating environment. The 22 June showcase, organised with the Association for Advancing Automation, brings together Ati Robotics, InOrbit, Kärcher, Neura Robotics, Omron, Peer Robotics, Quasi Robotics and Unitree. It covers material movement, cleaning and other robot types that must coordinate work and traffic in the same facility.
InOrbit Space Intelligence connects individual vendors’ native fleet managers and provides shared spatial awareness, mission dispatch and task deconfliction. Its Business Execution System converts orders from warehouse, enterprise-resource and manufacturing systems into robot work. This allows a facility’s business workflow to span several robot fleets while the vendors’ own managers continue handling their equipment.
The demonstration follows the Business Execution System introduced at Automate 2025. That release described connections between enterprise workflows and physical execution, with Colgate-Palmolive discussing use of the platform. The 2026 showcase expands the interoperability demonstration across a larger group of robot suppliers and shared operating tasks.
InOrbit also presented RobOps Copilot for natural-language and voice-based mission requests, performance analysis and reporting. The interoperability architecture provides a practical reference for ISO/DIS 21423, which was in its ballot period at the announcement date. The proposed framework addresses communication between robots, fleet managers and enterprise systems, supporting coordinated operation across independently managed fleets.
