Lanxin presents VersaBot 2.0 with panoramic RGB-D perception
The wheeled manipulation platform combines panoramic 3D sensing, an omnidirectional base and voice interaction.

Lanxin Robotics has presented the second-generation VersaBot, a wheeled humanoid developed under the Weimaier brand and shown publicly at the China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing on 16 July 2025. The company’s 21 July account describes an updated platform combining panoramic RGB-D perception, an omnidirectional mobile base and AI-based voice interaction.
VersaBot 2.0 fuses high-precision colour and depth camera data to reconstruct its surroundings in three dimensions and perceive changes in real time. Multiple sensing inputs support movement through dynamic environments, while the wheeled base allows the robot to translate and turn in confined work areas. The upper-body manipulation system is paired with this mobile platform for tasks involving objects and interaction at human workstations.
The development draws on Lanxin’s earlier work in depth sensing and industrial mobile robots. Its May 2025 account of RGB-D perception describes the role of three-dimensional sensing in robot navigation and obstacle detection. VersaBot combines those perception functions with a humanoid upper body and a voice interface intended for instructions and guest-facing interaction.
The company identifies manufacturing and warehouse work as target uses, including simple, repetitive or hazardous tasks. Proposed office applications include reception, guided explanations, errands and parcel delivery. At the expo, Weimaier also presented work spanning embodied robots, 3D-vision mobile robots, components and software, with VersaBot 2.0 forming the humanoid platform within that wider development programme.
