Launchpad Build AI closes $11M Series A for automated assembly deployment
The equity round and separate Scottish Enterprise grants support assembly automation development and deployment.

Launchpad Build AI announced an $11 million Series A on 15 October 2025, co-led by Lavrock Ventures and Squadra Ventures. Participants included Lockheed Martin Ventures, Cox Exponential, Ericsson Ventures and the Scottish National Investment Bank. The company separately disclosed $2.5 million in Scottish Enterprise grants.
Launchpad combines robotics with software tools for planning and delivering automated assembly systems. It targets manufacturers for which engineering cost and deployment time make conventional automation difficult to adopt, including small and medium-sized businesses.
The capital will support technology development and demand from customers in the United States, UK and Europe. Launchpad had opened an Edinburgh R&D centre and said its technology was already deployed in US and European factories. The company estimates that its tools can halve the time and cost of delivering automation, a performance claim made alongside the financing.
