LimX Dynamics launches Oli full-size humanoid for embodied-AI developers
LimX Oli launches in three editions for embodied AI research, with modular hardware and joint-level developer access.

LimX Dynamics has launched Oli, a 165 cm full-size humanoid with 31 active degrees of freedom excluding end effectors. Announced on 30 July, the platform is initially available in mainland China, with a global version planned and a public debut scheduled for 8 August at the World Robot Conference in Beijing.
Oli is offered in Lite, EDU and Super editions for AI researchers, robotics developers and systems integrators. Its joint configuration comprises seven degrees of freedom per arm, six per leg, three at the waist and two in the neck, supporting research that combines locomotion with manipulation and whole-body coordination.
The modular architecture allows developers to exchange end effectors, including two-finger grippers and five-finger hands, and integrate peripherals such as cameras, microphones, tactile sensors, inertial units and LiDAR. An open SDK provides access to robot state, sensor data, joint-level control and task orchestration for teleoperation and imitation-learning workflows.
LimX says the development toolchain combines cloud APIs with local control and over-the-air delivery of motion libraries and controller modules. The platform also supports onboard deployment of language models for interaction and planning. Oli forms part of the company’s programme for innovators, developers and systems integrators, providing hardware on which they can train, validate and apply embodied AI algorithms.
