Luxonis added applications, application logs and improved setup support for OAK4 devices to its Hub on 23 January 2025, according to its published platform release notes. The changes supported remote administration of the company's new generation of camera-and-compute devices, extending the developer workflow beyond image capture and model inference to deployed device operations.
The update followed initial OAK4 Hub support on 17 December 2024. It added remote access to application output and management of software workloads on deployed edge cameras, but the release notes contain no new perception benchmark, customer rollout, hardware specification or quantified commercial result. The narrow scope makes this a useful product-history entry rather than a substantive standalone industrial milestone.
Luxonis had added initial OAK4 support to Hub on 17 December 2024. The January update builds on that initial connection and setup support by adding tools for managing applications and examining their output. It is a dated software release for the device-management platform; the release notes do not announce a new camera hardware configuration.
