Lyte raises US$165M Series C to scale robot perception hardware
Maverick Silicon leads the round at a US$1.6 billion valuation as Lyte begins shipping its integrated sensing platform to robotics customers.

Lyte raised US$165 million in Series C financing on 2 September 2026, led by Maverick Silicon at a US$1.6 billion post-money valuation. Fidelity Management & Research, Atreides Management, Key1 Capital and Ora Global participated. Maverick Silicon managing partner Andrew Homan joins the board, and Lyte’s total disclosed funding reaches US$272 million.
The company develops custom silicon, multimodal sensors and spatial software for robots. LyteVision combines coherent 4D sensing, imaging and inertial measurements on a synchronised timeline, providing position and motion information for navigation and manipulation. Lyte says it has entered production and is shipping to robotics customers in inspection, logistics and manufacturing.
The financing supports production of its sensing silicon and LyteVision hardware, further perception development and customer deployments. Planned hiring spans chip design, optics, software, manufacturing and operations. The platform targets several robot forms, including mobile robots, arms, quadrupeds and humanoids.
Lyte emerged from stealth in January 2026 with US$107 million in aggregate funding. Founders Alexander Shpunt, Arman Hajati and Yuval Gerson bring experience in depth sensing and perception, including PrimeSense, Microsoft Kinect and Apple’s depth-sensing technologies. The January platform introduction proposed a single connection for spatial, visual and motion data; the September financing funds its transition into customer production systems.
