Neura’s Reported €1B Round Sits on Top of a Much Broader Expansion Story
The reported Tether-backed financing is notable on its own, but it also lands after a year of product expansion, acquisitions, and industrial partnerships at NEURA Robotics.
Bloomberg reported that NEURA Robotics was raising about €1 billion with backing from Tether at a valuation near €4 billion. The financing was still in progress.
The Financial Times had reported in November 2025 that Tether was in advanced talks to lead a €1 billion round at a higher valuation of €8 billion to €10 billion. The reports describe different stages of the financing process.
NEURA is a German robotics company founded in Metzingen in 2019. Its products include the 4NE-1 humanoid and cognitive industrial robots.
NEURA closed a €120 million Series B in January 2025, then kept stacking expansion moves across the year. In May, it acquired B.A.H. Industrial Solutions. In October, it acquired ek robotics, adding an established AGV and mobile robotics business. Then in November, it announced a strategic humanoid robotics partnership with Schaeffler focused on component development, deployment, and industrial integration.
Bloomberg later reported that Amazon and Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani were also participating.
