Oceaneering wins approximately $180M of Petrobras subsea robotics service contracts
Four-year offshore contracts combine remotely operated vehicles, specialist tooling and survey services.

Oceaneering announced on 28 August 2025 that its Brazilian subsidiary had won multiple Petrobras subsea robotics contracts with anticipated aggregate revenue of approximately $180 million. The contracts were awarded during the second quarter following a competitive tender, each running for four years with extension options.
The work includes work-class remotely operated vehicles, specialised tooling and survey services aboard anchor-handling and ROV-support vessels offshore Brazil. Tasks cover inspection, maintenance, repairs, decommissioning, positioning, floating-production vessel hook-ups, mooring inspections and pile installation support.
Contract starts were scheduled across the third and fourth quarters of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. Oceaneering had operated in Brazil for almost three decades, with facilities including an ROV and survey centre, remote-operations centre in Macaé and umbilical manufacturing in Niterói. The $180 million represents expected service revenue over the contracts rather than hardware sales or revenue recognised at award.
