Orbbec introduced its Ethernet-enabled Gemini 335Le depth camera and Pulsar SL450 industrial LiDAR at ProMat on 17 March 2025, expanding perception hardware for mobile robots, forklifts and industrial manipulation. The Gemini 335Le extended the Gemini 330 stereo-depth family to Ethernet connectivity; across family variants Orbbec offered USB 3, GMSL2 and Ethernet interface options for differing robot integration architectures.
Gemini 335Le uses an M12 X-coded connection for power and data over distances of up to 100 metres, alongside an M8 connector for external power, synchronisation and RS485. Its industrial integration features include Power over Ethernet, Precision Time Protocol synchronisation, an IP67 enclosure and support for ROS 1, ROS 2 and NVIDIA Jetson. The Ethernet option is intended to make depth sensing easier to integrate into larger mobile and industrial systems.
Pulsar SL450 is a single-line direct time-of-flight LiDAR for navigation and mapping. Orbbec specifies a 270-degree scanning field, detection range of at least 45 metres, a 72 kHz point rate and angular resolution down to 0.075 degrees. The laser sensor supplies range measurements for mapping and localisation, complementing the three-dimensional scene information produced by the stereo-depth camera family.
