RobotEra has introduced ROBOT L7, a 171 cm, 65 kg humanoid combining dynamic locomotion with manipulation for logistics and industrial applications. Its July announcement shows running, spinning jumps and dance movements alongside sorting, barcode scanning, screw fastening and delicate object handling.

The robot uses a modular structure, quasi-direct-drive joints and motors rated at up to 400 N·m peak torque. Aluminium and carbon-fibre components are intended to keep weight down while supporting rapid whole-body movement.

Two seven-axis arms and a three-degree-of-freedom waist provide a broad working envelope. The five-finger hands have 12 independently actuated degrees of freedom each, allowing the robot to handle tools and materials as well as perform more delicate operations.

RobotEra is also offering interchangeable full-body and upper-body configurations for different working environments. The demonstrations show the capabilities of those configurations; the company’s reported deliveries of more than 200 robots cover its wider business and are not an L7-specific shipment count.
