Robust.AI and Foxconn agree manufacturing scale-up for Carter warehouse robots
Foxconn expands its role in producing Carter as Robust.AI builds on warehouse deployments with DHL.

Robust.AI and Foxconn announced an expanded manufacturing partnership on 16 May 2025 to scale production of Carter, Robust.AI’s collaborative warehouse robot. Foxconn engineers had already been working with Robust.AI to build Carter robots in the United States and develop manufacturing processes, with the new agreement intended to accelerate fulfilment of international customer orders.
Carter supports order-picking assistance, point-to-point transport and mobile sorting within existing warehouses. Software allows facilities to switch between these functions as workflows change, while the robot is designed to work alongside warehouse staff. The partnership combines that platform with Foxconn’s manufacturing and supply-chain infrastructure.
Robust.AI reported that Carter robots at a DHL Supply Chain facility in Las Vegas had increased picking productivity by more than 60% within weeks of deployment. The result describes the company’s reported performance at that site. Foxconn said its involvement from the early stages of Carter’s development had helped prepare the product and production processes for expansion.
