Rollon announced the expansion of its United States manufacturing operations on 18 November 2024 with a 147,000-square-foot facility in Norton Shores, Michigan, and new office space in New Jersey. The Michigan site was designated to manufacture linear components, actuators, robotic transfer units, multi-axis systems and gantries, adding local industrial capacity for equipment makers and automation integrators serving North and South America.
The Michigan site will combine production of linear-motion components with robotic transfer units, the mechanisms used to move industrial arms along an additional axis between workstations. Rollon plans to introduce digital production systems and manufacturing processes that can be reconfigured as customer requirements and supply-chain conditions change. Its product range serves factory automation, logistics, packaging, aerospace and other machinery markets.
The new New Jersey office will bring engineering, customer service, product management, purchasing, marketing and human-resources teams together. Rollon has been part of Timken’s Industrial Motion business since 2018 and operates manufacturing and commercial locations across Europe, Asia and the Americas. The Norton Shores expansion establishes a larger US production hub for customers in both North and South America.
