UBTECH opens Liuzhou robot factory with 10,000+ unit capacity

The new Liuzhou facility is designed to produce more than 10,000 robots a year as UBTECH scales Walker humanoids and Cruzr robots.

UBTECH has started production at a new robot manufacturing facility in Liuzhou, China, designed for annual capacity above 10,000 units.

The factory produces Walker S-series industrial humanoids and Cruzr-series robots. Its production line is designed to complete one robot every 10 minutes, with robots and other automated systems also handling parts of material supply, palletising, assembly and internal logistics.

UBTECH began pushing the Walker S series into industrial environments in 2024, with robots entering automotive factories for training and validation. Deployments have since included work with NIO, BYD, Geely and other manufacturers across handling, sorting, assembly and inspection tasks.

In April 2025, the company disclosed its first small-batch procurement contract for industrial humanoids, covering Walker S1 and Walker C units for automotive-manufacturing and commercial-service use.

UBTECH launched Walker S2 later in 2025 and began mass production and delivery in November, with the company targeting 500 deliveries by year-end.

By the end of 2025, UBTECH reported sales of 1,079 full-size humanoid robots, with more than 1,000 delivered and revenue recognised. More than 80% of those sales were tied to industrial applications including automotive, logistics, electronics, semiconductors and aerospace manufacturing.

The Liuzhou factory now pushes that manufacturing footprint toward a five-figure annual capacity target.
