XTEND secures $30M Series B extension and opens Tampa US robotics headquarters
The additional financing completes a $70 million round following the opening of a US headquarters and manufacturing site.

XTEND announced a $30 million Series B extension on 15 July 2025, taking the completed round to $70 million. Aliya Capital Partners and Protego Ventures co-led the extension, alongside participants Claltech, Union-Tech Ventures and Chartered Group. Aliya founding partner and CEO Ross Kestin joined XTEND’s board.
The financing will support research, expanded US and international manufacturing, additional AI capabilities and deployments with US and allied defence customers. XTEND also identifies humanitarian and emergency response applications for its robotic systems. The $30 million is the newly disclosed extension; $70 million is the total round after that investment.
The company opened its US headquarters and advanced drone manufacturing facility in Tampa on 1 July, two weeks before the funding announcement. The site brings manufacturing and customer engagement closer to the US defence market.
Founded in Israel, XTEND develops aerial robotic platforms and the XOS operating system, combining human-guided control with machine autonomy for hazardous environments. It said thousands of systems were operational worldwide and identified users across the US Department of Defense, Singapore, Europe, the UK and Israel. Those deployments are company-reported.
