Sony's service shutdown removed the functions that made Xperia Hello a communication robot
Sony ended Xperia Hello's communication, home-monitoring and infotainment functions on 31 March 2023 and stopped new downloads of its dedicated apps through Google Play earlier. The affected functions included LINE and Skype communication, remote home viewing, personalised information and conversational behaviour, so surviving powered hardware should not be read as a still-functioning version of the product originally sold.
