About Sony
Sony’s robotics work combines complete products with perception components and machine-intelligence research. Aibo uses articulated joints, cameras, microphones and touch sensors to build a changing behavioural profile through onboard processing and cloud services. Sony Mobility also developed the Airpeak aerial platform around professional imaging payloads, while group laboratories study manipulation, interaction and learning for future physical systems.
Sony Semiconductor Solutions supplies image sensors that sit upstream of many robots and automated machines.
