EGS completes first USV cable-route survey with Fremantle 01
EGS Survey Australia completed a cable-route survey off Western Australia for OMS Group using its Fremantle 01 uncrewed survey vessel.
Evidence notes
- Fremantle 01 left and returned to Fishing Boat Harbour under fully remote piloting from EGS Australia’s Fremantle operations centre.
- EGS prepared, deployed and surveyed with the vessel and delivered the project outputs within three days.
- The 12-metre vessel operated in seas of about 1.5 metres and winds of 20–25 knots during the project.
