BionicM and Brooks Rehabilitation launched a pilot study comparing the Bio Leg powered knee with conventional microprocessor-controlled prosthetic knees.

Company overview
BionicM develops Bio Leg, a powered microprocessor knee for transfemoral amputees. The University of Tokyo spin-out combines motorized assistance, onboard sensing and movement control to support standing, walking and stair use. U.S. sales began in 2024, and the company completed its first customer deliveries that August.
