AgiBot-linked Jinan base reaches 300-robot production milestone
AgiBot-linked Hengyuan Zhiqi base in Jinan has produced its 300th robot in under five months and is targeting 20,000 units by the end of 2028.
AgiBot Innovation and Hengong Precision have reached the 300-robot production milestone at the Hengyuan Zhiqi Shandong Embodied AI industrial base in Jinan, with the 300th robot rolling off the line less than five months after the site opened. The milestone marks the base’s move into scaled production, according to local reporting.

The base opened on April 28, 2026, as a joint project involving AgiBot Innovation, Hengong Precision and the Jinan Tianqiao Industry Development Group. It combines AgiBot’s embodied-intelligence technology with local precision manufacturing and is intended to serve as a production and innovation hub in northern China.
The site supports production of complete robots across AgiBot’s broader Yuanzheng, Genie and Lingxi families, alongside quadruped systems. Local reporting has identified models including the Yuanzheng A3 and Genie G2 among robots produced there. The base combines robot assembly with testing, training and supporting manufacturing infrastructure.
The Jinan milestone is separate from AgiBot’s company-wide production total. In June 2026, AgiBot said its 15,000th robot had rolled off the production line after the company previously passed 5,000 and 10,000 units across its broader robotics portfolio, according to the company’s release.
The Jinan project is targeting production scale of 20,000 intelligent robots by the end of 2028 as the site continues to ramp, according to the Qilu report.
