Jacobi Robotics is building motion planning into faster robot programming

Jacobi Robotics launched on July 16, 2024 with a $5 million seed round led by Moxxie Ventures. The company also announced Jacobi Palletizer as its first AI-powered solution.

The founding team includes Yahav Avigal, Lars Berscheid, Max Cao, Jeff Ichnowski, and Ken Goldberg, tying the company to UC Berkeley and Carnegie Mellon robotics research.

Jacobi says its motion-planning software enables deployment in less than one day, compared with one month using existing programming tools. The comparison is company-reported.
