Starship Technologies signs Uber Eats UK robot-delivery rollout

Starship Technologies and Uber announced a global robot-delivery partnership on 20 November 2025, starting with Uber Eats orders in the UK in December. The companies planned expansion into multiple European countries in 2026 and the United States in 2027, connecting Starship’s sidewalk robots with Uber’s food-delivery platform.

Starship’s compact wheeled robots transport food and groceries over short local routes. The integration adds an ordering channel through which participating restaurants and retailers can dispatch deliveries using the robots. Starship’s official announcement described a phased international rollout, with the later markets scheduled for subsequent years.

The agreement extends Starship’s delivery operations into Uber Eats’ merchant and customer network. The announced dates describe the intended rollout as of November 2025; the partnership announcement preceded the start of the UK service.
