About Uber

Uber Autonomous Solutions connects external robotaxi, delivery and trucking systems to Uber's demand network. The platform provides mapping data, pickup and routing infrastructure, regulatory and market-entry support, vehicle dispatch, remote assistance and a mission-control layer for fleet operators.

Uber sold its Advanced Technologies Group to Aurora in 2021 and no longer develops a complete autonomous-driving stack in-house. Its current role is commercialisation and operations: integrating vehicles from multiple partners, supplying rider and delivery interfaces, improving fleet utilisation and supporting the financing and ownership structures needed to place autonomous vehicles into service.
