Unitree Robotics reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of RMB665.0 million, up 69.93% year on year, while attributable net profit fell 17.37% to RMB112.7 million. Research and development spending climbed 249.58% to RMB127.0 million, equivalent to 19.1% of quarterly sales. The figures come from the company's quarterly report, published following its Shanghai STAR Market listing, and show faster revenue growth alongside a substantially larger investment in robot intelligence and engineering.
For January–September, revenue reached RMB1.817 billion, up 55.71%, and attributable net profit was RMB386.7 million, up 270.54%. Nine-month R&D expenditure increased 191.48% to RMB262.9 million. Unitree attributed the nine-month profit increase partly to a large one-off share-based payment expense in the prior-year period. Profit excluding non-recurring items fell 18.78% to RMB349.0 million for January–September. Unitree attributed its higher research expenditure to embodied foundation models, computing infrastructure, expanding technical teams and development of new products.
Unitree sells both quadruped and humanoid robots. Its G1 humanoid family includes a standard configuration and an EDU edition supporting secondary development, alongside the company’s larger humanoids and industrial quadrupeds. The financial report covers the whole business.
At an October 22 conference, founder Wang Xingxing said cumulative G1 production had reached approximately 10,000–20,000 units, while the company was manufacturing hundreds of thousands of robot joint motors and modules.
