Wandelbots is building NOVA into robot-agnostic factory programming
A June 11, 2025 Schaeffler and NVIDIA collaboration puts Wandelbots NOVA between simulation and shopfloor robot execution.
Wandelbots announced on June 11, 2025 that it was working with Schaeffler and NVIDIA around NOVA and NVIDIA Omniverse. The demonstration was presented at NVIDIA GTC Europe in Paris.
The use case connects virtual workflow simulation to physical robot execution for soft-material automation across robot brands and factory cells.
Wandelbots describes NOVA as a robot-agnostic operating system for industrial automation. The system is meant to let developers simulate robot behavior in virtual cells and transfer validated workflows to physical robot execution, reducing the programming burden for factories that use multiple robot brands.
Dresden-based Wandelbots initially developed tools for non-specialists to teach robots. NOVA extends its software into developer tools and simulation-linked deployment.
The Schaeffler/NVIDIA work is a demonstration.
