Unitree introduces UnifoLM-WLA-1.0 humanoid foundation model
Unitree introduced UnifoLM-WLA-1.0, a 6-billion-parameter embodied foundation model spanning tabletop manipulation and whole-body mobile manipulation on Unitree G1 hardware.

Evidence notes
- Unitree reports training the model on approximately 2,500 hours of real-robot data across 64 tasks: 54 tabletop tasks and 10 whole-body mobile-manipulation tasks.
- A unified action representation supports two-finger grippers and multiple five-finger dexterous hands, with one model coordinating end effectors and lower-body motion.
- The project page publishes benchmark and real-robot evaluation material; its code, model-weight and dataset downloads remain marked “coming soon.”
Company overview
Develops quadruped and humanoid robots, with strength in dynamic locomotion, vertically integrated hardware, and relatively low-cost commercial deployment. Unitree is one of the clearest examples of a legged robotics company moving from research visibility into real productisation and broader market distribution.
