Figure Signs Nscale Partnership for Up to 100,000 NVIDIA GPUs
The multi-year agreement begins with a $3.5 billion compute commitment and could scale beyond $6 billion as Figure expands the data and infrastructure behind Helix.

Figure and UK-based AI infrastructure company Nscale have signed a multi-year strategic partnership covering the potential deployment of up to 100,000 NVIDIA GPUs on the Vera Rubin platform.
Initial GPUs are targeted for deployment from the second half of 2027 in Barstow, Texas. The agreement includes an initial $3.5 billion compute commitment, with the companies intending to scale the relationship beyond $6 billion.
Nscale will become Figure’s preferred compute provider and will make a strategic investment in the humanoid robotics company, becoming a shareholder. The infrastructure will support training and deployment of Figure’s Helix models, while the companies will also explore using Figure humanoids across Nscale’s supply chain.
The partnership follows Figure’s August 25 launch of Index, a global physical-data collection network designed to gather human task demonstrations for robot training.
Figure said Index had generated more than 16 million uploaded videos from 44,000 weekly active users across more than 100 countries while operating in stealth. The company has committed to spend more than $1 billion on data and compute over the following 12 months.
Together, Index and the Nscale agreement expand both sides of the infrastructure behind Helix: real-world training data and large-scale compute.
Figure has also continued expanding its deployment activity. In May, it signed a commercial agreement with Catalyst Brands to introduce humanoids into the company’s distribution and logistics network, beginning at its Reno, Nevada facility.
Figure 03 also returned to BMW Group’s Spartanburg plant in June for a new logistics workflow. That followed an earlier Figure 02 deployment which accumulated more than 1,250 operating hours, loaded more than 90,000 parts and contributed to production of more than 30,000 vehicles.
Hard deployment quantities for Figure 03 across these newer programs have not been disclosed.
