Funding rounds, acquisitions and other capital transactions across robotics, autonomous systems and their enabling technologies.

Major funding rounds

$71MSeed

Enigma emerged from stealth with a $71 million seed round led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital, with Conviction Partners and individual investors from major AI and technology companies participating. The capital will expand its research and engineering teams, computing resources and real-world robot deployments.

The company develops robotics foundation models alongside interfaces that let people direct physical machines more naturally. Its public launch opened an online experience using 100 AI-powered robots, allowing users to request tasks and manipulate objects remotely. Those interactions provide evidence about how people communicate with machines and feed development of both models and controls. Enigma’s software is intended to adapt across robot hardware, with partnerships already under development in entertainment, retail and healthcare.

Nearly RMB500MAngel++

Delta Intelligence completed an Angel++ round of nearly RMB500 million, its sixth financing since its January 2026 formation. The capital supports humanoid foundation-model development, production of its self-developed data-collection equipment and expansion of its engineering team, with industrial testing forming part of the programme.

Its architecture combines task planning with whole-body balance and force-and-position control, allowing learned behaviour to transfer between humanoid platforms. The newly introduced Delta D1 records first-person panoramic vision and full-body joint trajectories while a person works; an optional gripper captures manipulation detail. Those demonstrations are retargeted to robot bodies from manufacturers including Unitree, AGIBOT, Leju and Galaxea. Applications under validation include automotive component loading, industrial container sorting and inspection requiring coordinated movement and manipulation.

Quantum Dynamics

More than RMB100MSeed

Quantum Dynamics completed seed financing exceeding RMB100 million from Yunqi Capital and SenseTime-backed capital. The funds support Physical AI research, recruitment and international expansion. Founder Li Qiang previously served as CTO of Cainiao and Alibaba’s international digital-commerce business, bringing warehouse and logistics experience to the new company.

Its platform combines a world-action model with robot operating data, human corrections and software that detects execution errors and triggers recovery. Warehouse replenishment, picking and packing are the first applications: repeated tasks produce examples of successful manipulation and failed actions that can improve subsequent model training. The company planned 2026 pilots in ecommerce warehouses, initially focusing on relatively structured cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. Those pilots form a staged development programme toward more varied logistics environments.

$12MSeed

Axis Robotics announced a $12 million seed round led by Hack VC, with Nomad Capital, Pi Network Ventures, 10K Ventures and other investors participating. The financing supports a distributed robot-training data engine combining task generation, simulation-based collection, mobile first-person capture and automated processing.

Contributors operate simulated robots and supply demonstrations that can be converted into training trajectories. Its Axis V2 system uses human-gated data aggregation: autonomous behaviour continues where it works, while human corrections address failure points and become additional training examples. The company links that collection process with model training and deployment feedback, using errors to generate more targeted tasks. The round supports expansion of the data infrastructure and contributor network rather than a robot-manufacturing ramp.

$12MFunding round

UNIT AI raised $12 million in a round co-led by Prologis Ventures, Dynamo Ventures and Ground Up Ventures. eGateway Capital, Recursive Ventures, Think + Ventures, ZEP Fund and Crosscourt participated. The financing expands commercial deployment capacity, product development and growth across North America.

The company’s modular platform automates individual-item inventory management, ecommerce fulfilment and returns inside existing warehouses and smaller fulfilment locations. Predictive software coordinates storage and retrieval without requiring a complete facility redesign. UNIT said its system can fit within 1,000 square feet and named customers including Barrett, ShipCalm, DaVinci and Carter. Its pay-per-use model lets retailers and logistics providers introduce automation incrementally as their order volumes and requirements change.

$6.3MSeed

Dopl Technologies raised $6.3 million in seed funding led by SpringTide Ventures, with Washington Research Foundation, Tacoma Venture Fund, HeartX, Transform VC and Precursor Ventures participating. Total funding exceeded $8 million. The proceeds support development of its telerobotic ultrasound platform and the FDA submission process required for U.S. clinical deployment.

The Traverse system allows an ultrasound specialist to manipulate a probe remotely, extending diagnostic access to locations that cannot consistently staff specialist sonographers. Dopl combines the robotic equipment with DoplConnect for secure connectivity and data exchange and SonoFlex for clinical workforce support. The company was progressing through FDA pre-submission work toward a 510(k) application; the financing announcement did not establish regulatory clearance.
