About Dopl Technologies
Dopl Technologies is building Traverse, a telerobotic ultrasound platform intended to connect remote sonographers with hospitals that lack an on-site specialist. The system combines a robotic scanning device at the patient location with live imaging and remote control, allowing a qualified operator to position the probe and conduct an examination from another site.
Traverse remains under development and is not commercially available. Dopl's current delivery model also includes SonoFlex, a scheduling and staffing application for ultrasound departments, and CareBridge, a travelling-sonographer service already used by hospitals. Together these layers address immediate staffing gaps while the company develops the robotic route to extending specialist imaging coverage across rural and smaller clinical facilities.
