Wandercraft Says Calvin-40 Has Secured 12 Blue-Chip Customers

The undisclosed customers span automotive, logistics, retail, healthcare and defence as Wandercraft prepares its industrial humanoid for series delivery.

France-based Wandercraft says it has secured 12 blue-chip customers for its Calvin-40 industrial humanoid.

The customers remain undisclosed, but span automotive, logistics, retail, healthcare and defence. Wandercraft says it is expanding Calvin-40’s capabilities and preparing to ramp production as commercial activity increases.

The disclosure follows earlier progress with Renault Group. In June, Renault said Calvin was already being tested at its Douai plant, with a roadmap for around 10 robots in operation by the end of 2026 and 350 across its French and Spanish factories by the end of 2027.

Separately, Bloomberg reported this week that Wandercraft is in talks to raise around €100 million, or roughly $116 million, with Goldman Sachs advising on the process. The financing has not been announced as completed.

Calvin-40 builds on Wandercraft’s self-balancing exoskeleton technology and is being developed for tasks including moving tyres, boxes, parcels, panels and carts in human-designed industrial environments.
