Symbotic acquires cellumation for omnidirectional sortation

• Celluveyor uses individually controlled omnidirectional conveyor cells to route items across a modular surface.
• Cellumation will retain its name and Bremen headquarters, serve existing customers and also integrate its technology into Symbotic systems.
• Co-founder CEO Hendrik Thamer and co-founder CTO Claudio Uriarte will remain in charge of cellumation’s operations.
