Public Markets

Unitree begins trading in Shanghai

Unitree began trading on Shanghai’s STAR Market on Aug. 19, with shares closing at RMB845 after rising 460% from the RMB150.80 IPO price.

The company raised approximately RMB6.1 billion ($900 million) through the IPO before this week’s trading debut. The raise itself belongs to the previous week’s capital activity and is not counted again in the funding ledger.

FORT Robotics agrees SPAC listing

FORT Robotics agreed to combine with Newbury Street II Acquisition Corp., taking the Physical AI safety company public on Nasdaq.

The transaction values the combined company at a $556.6 million pro-forma enterprise value and could provide approximately $201 million in gross proceeds, assuming no SPAC redemptions. FORT expects to trade under FROB following completion.

Mech-Mind prepares $300 million Hong Kong IPO

Mech-Mind Robotics is preparing to open the order book for a Hong Kong IPO expected to raise approximately $300 million.

The company is targeting a Sept. 1 trading debut after clearing its listing hearing and receiving approval to issue up to 27.48 million overseas shares.

AIMOGA prepares for an IPO

Chery-backed AIMOGA Robotics is preparing for an IPO to fund further expansion.

Management said discussions over potential listing venues are underway, although no exchange, timetable or transaction size has been finalised. The company says it has deployed more than 3,000 robots and is targeting 10,000 global deliveries over the coming year.

Other listing activity

LimX Dynamics reportedly made a confidential Hong Kong IPO filing, with a potential raise of up to $300 million.

Direct Drive Tech filed a Hong Kong listing application on Aug. 19.

Tianjin Chenxing Technology, formerly Atomrobot, submitted a renewed Hong Kong listing application on Aug. 18.

ACE Robotics management said the company intends to pursue an IPO as soon as regulations permit.

Motorola Solutions completed its acquisition of D-Fend Solutions for $1.5 billion.

Zipline

Uber made an undisclosed strategic investment in Zipline alongside a drone-delivery partnership. The companies are targeting one million daily deliveries by the end of 2029.

Mobil Robotics

CowinTech acquired a 10.7% stake in robot battery-pack specialist Mobil Robotics.

DomeCommand

Inturai Ventures agreed to acquire DomeCommand’s autonomous drone-swarm command-and-control IP for up to C$6.025 million (~$4.4 million).

Vectus Air Defense Systems

Swarmer became a founding investor in Vectus Air Defense Systems with a 20% stake.

Public Equity

Wrap Technologies

Wrap Technologies raised $12 million through a registered direct offering.

Odysight AI

Odysight.ai priced an $11 million public offering.

AMC Robotics

AMC Robotics received $1 million from warrant exercises, with up to approximately $1.1 million of additional proceeds possible.

Clobot

Clobot’s rights issue progressed through subscription at a final issue price of KRW20,600 per share. The offering targets approximately KRW113.2 billion (~$81 million).

Current Robotics disclosed Seed, Angel and Pre-A financings totaling hundreds of millions of RMB. These are earlier rounds disclosed together, not new weekly financing events.

Ensuring Technology

Ensuring Technology disclosed three earlier financing rounds totaling more than RMB100 million (more than $14 million). These are recorded as a capital disclosure rather than counted as a new round.
