About AXIOM

AXIOM is the operating software behind Kite Aero’s autonomous delivery system. It combines a remote pilot station with route planning, operations management, compliance controls and fleet supervision for KITE aircraft.

Kite Aero says AXIOM enables one pilot to manage up to 30 aircraft. That figure is recorded as a stated platform capability rather than an achieved fleet-deployment count.

Kite Aero platform receives Zimbabwe BVLOS delivery approval with Drone Solutions
2026-09-21 - Regulatory - The six-month regulatory review covered the aircraft, operating manuals, risk assessment, airspace integration and live flight demonstrations conducted in August 2026. The approval enables a move from trials toward daily commercial delivery, initially targeting medical and pathology logistics; it does not by itself prove daily operations have started. Kite Aero reports that AXIOM’s safety dataset covers more than 41,000 autonomous flights and 20,000 flight hours.
