XZU Angular Contact Needle Roller Bearings

The XZU family uses two rows of cage-guided needle rollers at a 45-degree contact angle. It supports lightweight robot joints either as a main bearing or within a reduction gear. Schaeffler attributes its tilting rigidity to a greater number of load-bearing rolling elements than a same-size cross-roller design.

The humanoid portfolio lists sizes 11, 14, 17, 20, 25, 32 and 40. Standard assemblies arrive preloaded, greased and sealed on one side, with other designs available on request. Schaeffler offers the family for compact joint support; individual dimensions and load ratings depend on the selected size and configuration.
