About
About Channel Robotics
Channel Robotics develops hand-held robotic instruments for endoscopic surgery. Its approach places powered articulation and control directly in a surgeon-operated device, extending reach and dexterity through natural or minimally invasive access routes without requiring a large multi-arm operating-room robot.
Patented and patent-pending mechanisms are intended to help surgeons navigate anatomy and manipulate tissue beyond the line of sight of conventional rigid instruments. The San Diego company is developing the platform through engineering, preclinical evaluation and regulatory preparation. Commercial availability will depend on clearance for specific procedures and instruments.
