About Remedy Robotics

Remedy's N1 connects robotic catheter manipulation with a clinician's control station, allowing the operator and patient-side equipment to be in separate hospitals. In August 2025, Unity Health Toronto used the system for diagnostic angiograms with the surgeon at St. Joseph's Health Centre and patients at St. Michael's Hospital, linked through the hospital network.

A specialised bedside clinical team supported the patients while the surgeon controlled the robot remotely. Those cases evaluated blood vessels; remote treatment of conditions such as stroke is a further development objective. Remedy is preparing pivotal clinical trials, and N1 remains under development and unavailable for sale. Its operating model therefore combines remote specialist control, local clinical support and the communications infrastructure connecting them.
