About
About American Robotics
American Robotics' Optimus installation combines an aircraft with a ground station that automatically swaps batteries and payloads between missions. Data capture, distribution and analytics can operate through local or cloud infrastructure, with configurations supporting sites without an internet connection. Interchangeable payloads adapt the system for imaging, mapping and lightweight delivery.
The company also provides the operational layer around deployed systems. Its control centre handles mission planning and flight operations, while engineering, maintenance and training services support installation and continued use. Work on beyond-visual-line-of-sight waivers connects the technical deployment with the permissions required for each customer's operating environment.

Events
- 2025-10-02 - Commercial Order - Ondas orders 500 Rift Wasp drones with Kitron production
American Robotics holds exclusive U.S. distribution rights for Wåsp and expected the first deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2025. Kitron was named as the production partner for the initial 500 units under its longer-term manufacturing relationship with Rift Dynamics. The parties described a network capable of scaling beyond 20,000 units per month within six months of an order; that figure is stated capacity, not delivered volume.
Source - 2025-06-25 - Partnership - American Robotics names DMS for U.S. drone manufacturing
American Robotics signed a letter of intent naming Detroit Manufacturing Systems as contract manufacturer and supply-chain manager for its autonomous drone platforms. Manufacturing and assembly are planned through DMS Kinetyc operations in Wixom, Michigan, for U.S. and export markets. The partners said domestic production would support faster delivery of FAA Type Certified platforms and NDAA-compliant U.S. supply chains.
