About Sensobright Industries
Sensobright Industries develops flexible, high-density tactile sensor arrays and processing electronics for robotics, vehicles, medical systems and interactive surfaces. The company says its platform can measure force, pressure, shear, temperature and proximity before contact, while scaling to large numbers of simultaneous sensing points. Optical data transfer makes the sensing layer resistant to magnetic interference and allows dense sensor streams to use a compact interface.
For robotics, Sensobright targets grippers, cobots, humanoids and surgical robots. Its own Mr. V humanoid is a technology demonstrator rather than the company’s primary commercial product: the core offering is the tactile sensing layer used to detect contact, object shape, slip conditions and nearby people. Sensobright prototypes and productizes the technology at its Beaverton facility and works with commercial partners on application-specific integrations.
