About DHL

DHL applies different robot types to individual stages of parcel and warehouse flow. Boston Dynamics’ Stretch unloads loose cartons from trailers onto conveyors, while Locus and 6 River mobile robots guide picking and move orders between storage, packing and dispatch areas.

The group tests systems inside live logistics operations, integrates them with warehouse software and scales successful configurations across multiple customer sites. DHL reports more than 2,000 robots operating across its UK, Ireland and EMEA supply-chain network, including hundreds of collaborative mobile robots deployed across fulfilment centres.
