About HCLTech

HCLTech’s Physical AI work applies its broader product-engineering capability to machines that perceive and act in the physical world. For an autonomous robot programme, its teams can develop navigation logic, motion planning and system integration around the customer’s sensors, embedded compute, actuators and safety architecture. Simulation and test environments support validation before software is transferred to the physical platform.

A July 2026 engagement with a European manufacturer places HCLTech inside development of a next-generation autonomous robot. HCLTech contributes engineering capacity across the autonomy stack and its interfaces, while the customer retains the machine and commercial product. This service model allows industrial manufacturers to add robotics software, edge AI and verification expertise without building every specialist discipline internally.
