Renovate Robotics

Renovate Robotics develops robots for installing asphalt shingles on residential and commercial roofs. Its systems move along the roof surface, position roofing material and automate repetitive fastening work that otherwise exposes crews to height, heat and physical strain.

The company designs the mobile platform, material handling and installation tooling around existing roofing products and contractor workflows. Field trials and collaborations with roofers guide hardware development and site deployment. Saint-Gobain NOVA made a follow-on investment in 2025 to support engineering, installations and work with CertainTeed, moving the technology toward broader commercial use.
