About Rice Robotics
Rice Robotics builds indoor service robots for delivery, patrol, disinfection and visitor assistance. The delivery configuration carries up to 30 kilograms in a secured compartment and uses lidar, infrared and sonar sensing to navigate buildings, pass access gates and operate elevators without a human escort.
RiceCore gives operators fleet-level visibility into robot location, battery state and operating conditions. Patrol models add scheduled routes and panoramic security recording, while conversational units provide multilingual questions, answers and wayfinding. Rice robots have operated in offices, residences, hotels and commercial properties in Hong Kong and Japan, including deployments involving Japan Post, SoftBank and major property groups.
