About DoD Solution

DoD Solution’s AURA AI runs perception and mission functions directly on an unmanned aircraft. The platform combines visual navigation, target recognition, tracking and terminal guidance so a drone can continue operating when satellite navigation, communications or cloud access are unavailable. It is designed for integration across FPV aircraft, fixed-wing UAVs and interceptor systems rather than being tied to one airframe.

The company works with vehicle manufacturers and compute suppliers to move AURA from software development into production hardware. A 2026 integration with Lantronix places the stack on the Qualcomm-based Open-Q 6490CS system-on-module, a size-, weight- and power-optimised edge-compute platform. Engineering teams completed the initial integration and began production ramp-up for European and Ukrainian programmes. The resulting system keeps sensor processing and flight decisions onboard, reducing dependence on a continuous datalink in contested or communication-constrained missions.
