About FOSSA Systems
FOSSA Systems designs, manufactures and operates small satellites for low-power connectivity and dedicated missions. Its stack covers spacecraft buses, payload integration, ground infrastructure and network operations, letting customers connect remote sensors or deploy sovereign space communications without building each layer separately.
The company's nanosatellites relay short messages from terrestrial devices using low-power wide-area protocols, supporting asset tracking, agriculture, infrastructure and environmental monitoring. Dedicated constellations can add customer payloads, encryption and controlled ground services for government or industrial users. FOSSA combines in-house spacecraft production with mission design, launch coordination and ongoing service operation.

Kibo Ventures led the completed round. SETT, Space Frontiers Fund II, Indico Capital Partners and WISeSat participated. FOSSA said the capital would support international expansion, security and defence development, team growth and continued constellation deployment.

Kanematsu agreed to support exclusive development and market expansion for FOSSA's defence-oriented satellite technologies in Japan. The three satellites launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base aboard a Falcon 9. One FOSSASat travelled on Impulse Space's Mira orbital-transfer vehicle for later deployment into its designated orbit. The mission advanced FOSSA's satellite-roaming architecture for industrial IoT connectivity across remote regions.

Nabtesco Technology Ventures and Indico Capital Partners co-led the Series A. Newmind Venture and Sabadell Venture Capital also participated in the completed round. FOSSA planned to use the capital to develop an 80-satellite network for secure remote asset monitoring and tracking.
