About
About Jianjia Robot
Jianjia Medical develops orthopaedic surgical robots that combine preoperative planning, optical navigation and robot-assisted execution. Patient imaging provides an anatomical plan, while tracking and registration align it with the patient during surgery. The surgeon remains responsible for the procedure as the system helps guide instruments and execute the planned workflow.
Arthrobot supports joint-replacement applications, while the YOZX multimodal platform covers hip, knee, spine and trauma indications. The company also provides clinical training and case support. Jianjia announced a cumulative milestone of more than 10,000 robot-assisted procedures in November 2025 and said it had worked with over 1,000 hospitals. Those figures describe the company’s clinical activity and hospital relationships rather than a count of installed robots. The business is headquartered in Hangzhou, with separate commercial and research locations.

Events
- 2026-01-09 - Award - Jianjia navigation system receives Zhejiang first-set recognition
The recognised YOZX system integrates clinical imaging for preoperative planning, intraoperative navigation and dynamic tracking. YOZX is approved across spine, trauma, hip and knee indications as a four-in-one orthopaedic robot. The recognition followed a 2023 domestic first-set designation for the company's Arthrobot total-joint surgical robot.

The installed clinical scope covered hip, knee, unicompartmental knee, spine and trauma procedures. Haptic virtual boundaries and real-time parallel rendering supported sub-millimetre surgical accuracy. The company also launched a 5G-and-AI remote surgical teaching system with the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.
Source - 2021-06-09 - Demonstration - Arthrobot assists first hip-and-knee-compatible total knee replacement
The seven-axis Arthrobot evaluated knee motion, lower-limb alignment and joint spacing during the procedure. The system adjusted the surgical plan from intraoperative measurements and guided femoral and tibial bone cuts. The team reported cutting error within 1 mm and one degree after nearly 100 robot-assisted hip-replacement clinical procedures.
