About Spinoff Robotics
Spinoff Robotics designs aerial platforms from the airframe and control electronics through sensing and mission software. ALICE is built for heavy payloads, persistent station-keeping and recoil or tether-force control, supporting high-pressure washing, soft washing and coating application through a continuous chemical-delivery line. METRON is configured for close inspection and sub-millimetre photogrammetry inside confined or GPS-denied structures.
The company combines its aircraft with edge processing derived from parent company Nanoveu’s EMASS technology. Onboard computation supports visual odometry, position control and data analysis without depending entirely on a remote cloud connection. Operational deployments with Gardens by the Bay, Singapore’s Land Transport Authority and HTX have covered facade work, infrastructure inspection and security applications, placing Spinoff’s machines in managed services as well as technology trials.

Nanoveu signed a binding sale and purchase agreement to acquire all of Singapore-based Spinoff Robotics. The proposed transaction covered the commercially deployed ALICE tethered aerial platform and METRON inspection system, together with Spinoff's engineering capability. Nanoveu said the acquisition would integrate Spinoff's airframes and sensing systems with its ECS-DoT edge-AI silicon.
