About hyCLEANER
hyCLEANER manufactures modular machines for cleaning photovoltaic arrays, building facades and glass roofs. Its solar range extends from the compact model for installations of roughly 50 to 2,000 square metres to the pro and ultimate platforms for large rooftops, ground-mounted plants and agri-PV. Separate facadeBRUSH systems work vertically or horizontally from access platforms, while glassROBOT covers extensive glazed roofs.
Operators can radio-control the solar robots from a safe position, and AutoDrive maintains a cleaning lane while edge sensors stop the machine at the end of a surface. Battery-powered modules, interchangeable brushes and separable chassis components simplify transport and adaptation to different panel layouts. The company also supplies pure-water systems, hand brushes, hose-management equipment, vehicle or trailer packages, training and maintenance for professional cleaning contractors.

By October 15, 2025, L&L PV Reinigung was using hyCLEANER equipment on photovoltaic arrays. The contractor combined DIRT FORCE with solarROBOT pro and a pressure system operating at up to 150 bar. Six rotating high-pressure nozzles removed persistent lichen while the robotic system reduced manual cleaning time and cost.

By October 10, 2025, Jentzsch was using hyCLEANER equipment at Berlin Suedkreuz station. Jentzsch uses the semi-automatic system for recurring maintenance of more than 3,000 square metres of glass roofing. The machine supports thorough water-based cleaning while reducing time, resource use and work on exposed roof surfaces.

The Purus Innovation Award finalists were announced on June 26, 2023. solarROBOT compact was one of three products selected in the small-machines category. The jury chose 18 finalists from a record 83 submissions across six cleaning-industry categories.

Celina Pfeiffer, Josha Kneiber and Michael Pfeiffer joined the hyCLEANER team in April 2022. The expanded team brought sales, marketing and series-production experience to the cleaning-robot business. Founder Andreas Grochowiak remained managing director while the company committed to developing and expanding its Gronau site.
