Moley Robotics develops robotic kitchens for residential and commercial use. Its system combines robotic manipulation, sensors, motors, kitchen equipment and a recipe library to reproduce programmed cooking processes.
The current Signature Kitchen is marketed through appointment-led sales for luxury homes, with residential and commercial configurations. It supports automatic programmes and a dual mode in which people can cook directly, work with the robot or delegate the programmed preparation sequence.

- 2026-01-30 - Partnership - Moley and Jean-Christophe Novelli plan curated menus
Moley announced a culinary collaboration with chef Jean-Christophe Novelli in January 2026. Novelli will develop curated menus translating his signature style into Moley-compatible dishes. The company planned spring introductions spanning seasonal recipes and refined everyday meals.

Moley opened its London robot-kitchen showroom on Wigmore Street in December 2023. The 16 Wigmore Street site displayed Chef's Table, X-Air, and A-Air kitchens. Visitors could watch live cooking demonstrations and sample dishes prepared by robotic arms.

Moley unveiled its first consumer robotic kitchen at Dubai's GITEX exhibition. The market-ready system launched with thirty chef-developed dishes and planned monthly recipe additions. SCHUNK collaborated on two articulated hands that manipulated ingredients, cookware, controls, and utensils.

Moley unveiled its proof-of-concept robotic chef at Hannover Messe in April 2015. Two robotic arms reproduced chef Tim Anderson's captured movements to prepare crab bisque. Shadow Robot developed the prototype hands with twenty motors, twenty-four joints, and 129 sensors.

reviewed 2026-07-19 - At its 2015 demonstration, Moley aimed to begin mass production and sales as early as 2017 at about £10,000, with a planned library of 2,000 recipes. The system then demonstrated one prepared recipe and did not launch on that timetable.
