About FUTRONIC
FUTRONIC combines motors, position sensing and electronic controls in actuation assemblies. Its automotive range includes transfer-case shifting, steering, parking-brake and oil-pump equipment. A transfer-case actuator changes the drive mode and can report its position to the vehicle controller, illustrating how the company integrates movement and feedback in the same assembly.
For electric steering and steer-by-wire applications, FUTRONIC develops the motor and controller around the customer’s requirements, with integrated or separate configurations. Its own control software can be adjusted with the hardware, while internal motor-production processes support the manufacturing side. This engineering base connects component design, control logic and production of the mechatronic unit used by a larger vehicle system.
