About
About AGILOX
AGILOX develops autonomous mobile robots for pallet, dolly and load-carrier movement in factories and warehouses. ONE and OFL use omnidirectional lift mechanisms, ODM moves dollies and OCF provides a counterbalanced autonomous-forklift format. The systems navigate without fixed floor infrastructure and coordinate through X-SWARM software.
The portfolio addresses different load shapes and transfer points within one fleet architecture. AGILOX demonstrated OFL and ODM systems at LogiMAT 2026, supporting an active commercial product line. X-SWARM lets the vehicles exchange their positions and operating status directly, distributing transport requests without a central fleet computer.

Events
- 2026-03-24 - Demonstration - AGILOX demonstrates OFL and ODM AMRs at LogiMAT 2026
The 150-square-metre booth presented the OFL and ODM side by side within AGILOX's current AMR portfolio. Visitors could test commissioning, station setup, routing and order-handling functions through AGILOX HMI. The software display covered simulation-based development, end-to-end digital twins, X-SWARM and AGILOX WORLD.

The recorded operating period covered more than 483,000 containers and pallets transported. LINHARDT reports more than 36,500 tonnes moved and 73,000 kilometres travelled by the vehicles. The Viechtach system uses AGILOX X-SWARM and connects with the site's existing IT environment.
Source - 2025-04-07 - Org Change - AGILOX appoints David Niedermaier and Dirk Erlacher co-CEOs
Niedermaier retained his technology remit while taking the co-CEO role. Erlacher returned from leading AGILOX APAC in China and also became COO. Baumann-Rott stepped down as managing director and COO and continued with the group as a board member.
Source - 2025-03-11 - Product Launch - AGILOX launches OFL autonomous free-lift robot
The initial 2025 configuration supports loads up to 800 kg and station heights up to 1.2 metres. AGILOX designed the OFL to deliver, stack and store pallets and other load carriers. The robot uses the company's X-SWARM fleet-coordination technology and a new 3D-sensor obstacle-avoidance system.
Source - 2024-04-05 - Deployment - AGILOX scales BMW Regensburg fleet to 27 AMRs
BMW installed the first AGILOX AMR at Regensburg in 2017 and expanded the fleet after the pilot phase. By the end of 2023, 27 AMRs replenished bodywork processes and handled load carriers across the plant. AGILOX reports that the fleet moves about 2,624 tonnes and travels roughly 3,294 kilometres in an average week.
Source - 2024-03-06 - Demonstration - AGILOX ONE showcases RoboSense Bpearl lidar at MODEX 2024
The AGILOX ONE at booth C7492 used RoboSense's Bpearl lidar for obstacle avoidance and precise navigation. Bpearl provides a 360-degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical field of view, with short-range detection down to 10 cm. RoboSense scheduled the showcase for MODEX in Atlanta from 11 to 14 March alongside other lidar-equipped warehouse robots.
Source - 2023-06-22 - Award - AGILOX ODM wins IFOY Award for autonomous mobile robot
The jury cited the ODM's compactness, user-friendliness, autonomous responsiveness and manoeuvrability. AGILOX states that the ODM can be commissioned in under 12 hours and uses X-SWARM to choose routes in real time. The IFOY decision followed an 80-criteria test protocol, a scientific innovation check and a jury test.
Source - 2023-02-16 - Deployment - AGILOX operates five-robot AMR fleet at hansgrohe
Hansgrohe selected AGILOX after evaluating three AMR manufacturers for integration into its existing workflows. The five-robot fleet travels about 3,000 kilometres and transports roughly 13,000 pallets each month. Hansgrohe uses X-SWARM fleet coordination and AGILOX Analytics to monitor and optimise the material flow.
Source - 2022-10-13 - Product Launch - AGILOX launches ODM autonomous dolly mover
The ODM targets small load carriers with up to 300 kg load capacity and 250 mm lifting height. The robot uses AGILOX X-SWARM technology and omnidirectional movement for warehouse and production-floor transport.
Source - 2021-09-21 - Product Launch - AGILOX expands AMR portfolio with OCF counterbalanced forklift
The OCF handles open and closed load carriers up to 1,500 kg and can set them down at heights up to 1,600 mm. Its three-drive omnidirectional base supports parallel, diagonal and rotational movement in narrow warehouse aisles. AGILOX designed mixed ONE and OCF fleets to share X-SWARM coordination, control and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Source - 2021-06-21 - Funding - Carlyle invests growth capital in AGILOX
Carlyle agreed to invest substantial growth capital alongside existing shareholder Raiffeisen Invest Private Equity. AGILOX linked the investment to international expansion and development of new autonomous mobile robot products. The founders and Raiffeisen Invest retained substantial stakes after the transaction.
